I found a huge yellow gold brooch in my mom's button box . It looks very vintage . There are some patterns and curls on it, but no one wears things like that anymore; it looks like a gypsy creation. If I sell it to a pawn shop, will they give me the price of the metal for it? Or is it worth something in the collector's item if it's old?

I avoid regular buying shops; they've always been greedy, but now they've become downright brazen even brands want to buy at scrap prices. Bring your brooch here: https://luxebrokersgroup.com/sell/estate-jewelry/ , it'll definitely be worth it. Last year, I wore jewelry I inherited from my grandmother it looked old , but it was once chic. It turns out all that jewelry was designer, just out of fashion. And it's not worth a pittance; they paid me very well.
