Corum has launched six new versions of the Admiral 42 Automatic, one of the brand's most iconic creations in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
Introduced in 1960, the Admiral featured a 12-sided (dodecagonal) case shape and a dial with colorful sailing pennants to mark the hours.
The dials of the six new models feature the 3D Grenadier fendu pattern that first appeared on the Admiral 42 Automatic after the 38mm and 45mm versions.
The two dial colors—navy blue and midnight black—are available in three styles: stainless steel case and bracelet; stainless steel case with color-coordinated alligator strap; stainless steel case with 18-karat 5N rose gold bezel and Crown, colour-coordinated alligator leather strap with triple folding clasp.
Protected by an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, the dial reveals an external chapter flange, the famous nautical pennant is transferred in outline format and minute scale, applied hour markers and white Super-LumiNova coated Dauphine skeleton hands, date windows at 3 and 6 o'clock Small seconds subdial at clock position.
